Sean Haugh is no longer on the LP’s staff, which would explain most or all the ~25% reduction (c. 100K) in the ‘compensation’ item in the summary budget forwarded with the draft meeting notes from San Diego.
It’s interesting to note that the budget passed several days before Haugh posted a scathing attack on the LP’s chair at the website owned by LNC representative Lee Wrights, where he said, in part:
With Bill Redpath as our Chair, it is open season on women in leadership or on staff of the Libertarian National Committee.

Good to see Hog out of there. One less pathetic slime-ball.
The Political Director position is the most seasonal of the bunch, though it’s never too early to start recruiting candidates.
I hope finances improve to a point where a new Political Director can be hired as soon as possible… politics is supposed to be the core activity of a political party.
The noted change would explain little of the compensation reduction, unless there was a cancelled plan to triple and then some his salary next year.
Haugh has new recent post on Liberty For All from today. Check it out.
Does that mean that Sean Haugh was paid ~100k annually?
Does that mean that Sean Haugh was paid ~100k annually?
No, closer to 45K. But there is much more to a compensation package than salary.
It’s also possible the budget for other staff has been cut as well.
What, Barf didn’t recruit millions of neocon donors like the retard caucus had planned? I am shocked!
