Is it wrong that I find this story hilarious? Because if finding rape threatening porn-peddlers funny is wrong, I don’t want to be right.
(AP) PHILADELPHIA The city of Philadelphia is moving to close down a newsstand near the Liberty Bell whose owner allegedly insists on selling pornography.
He also posted a sign threatening to rape anyone who objects.
Question: Are general threats of rape to nonspecific people illegal? Such as “I’m going to rape the next person who walks through that door” or “I’m going to rape the next person elected president”? Something to ponder.
